My collaborations
All the lovely people that make my science better (and fun)

Dr. Daniel Bray. Natural Resource Institute, UK.
Dan is a chemical ecologist working on insect pest control.
He is the chemical ecologist and statistician behind my Fish Odour work.

Dr. Mikolaj Adamek & Prof. Dieter Steinhagen, Veterinary University Hanover, Germany.
Mikolaj and Dieter are experts for fish diseases, disease detection and treatment development.
I have worked with them on many projects regarding fish viruses, bacterial diseases and immunostimulation. Visits to their lab have always been fun and very productive.

Dr. Marlene Spinner, Kiel University
Marlene works on biomechanics of humans, reptiles and fish and the latter has resulted in a joint project looking at the burrying behaviour of turbot juveniles.

Dr. Sarah Harris, Keele University
Sarah and I overlapped during our PhDs at Keele University. Discussions with her on the topic of immunostimulants and microbiota analysis are always enlightening and moving us forward.

Jonna Tomkiewicz, Ian Butts and Sebastian Politis, DTU, Denmark

Dr. Sandra Binning
Sandra works on the influence of environmental factors on fish behaviour and physiology. She recently did a great study in the influence of immune responses on learning abilities in fish.
